About the Writing our Lives Southern Anthology

In 2015, ten writers came together in the first Writing our Lives Memoir

Writing Workshop to learn and share the art of writing and storytelling.

One year later, members of the freshman class of the 1st Annual

Read.Write.Share Writers Weekend became authors in the Writing our Lives Southern

Anthology.

Armed with the mission as writers to share their stories with the world, these writers

did just that—mining their memories and their souls for stories. Rich and unique southern stories

based on long-held memories, secrets, joys, pains emptied out onto the blank sheet of paper.
